A local of the Washington D.C. area, Michele began her professional career with Montgomery County Public Schools (MD) teaching 4th grade Reading, Writing, Language Arts and Social Studies, 5th grade Math and Science, and 6th grade Math. After seven years in MCPS, and upon earning her Masters degree in Theatre Education from the Catholic University of America, Michele took on the role of Theatre and Choral Arts teacher at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington D.C. where she designed and established a Theatre Program from scratch, while further developing the Choral Music Program. 

After ten years in the classroom, Michele then committed herself fully to Teaching Artistry as a profession. As an Arts Integration Specialist and Artist, Michele created and facilitated workshops for students and teachers utilizing Drama Arts Integration in the K-12 classroom, improving student achievement, behavior, and attitude towards learning. She led in-school residencies for students in grade 3-12 through various professional theaters in the DC area as well as her own corporation. During this period, Michele had the opportunity to pursue acting and directing professionally to further develop her craft. For five years, Michele was a core member of the Musical Theatre programming at Levine Music Theatre as Director of the Youth Performance Institute, providing acting, movement and vocal training to middle school-aged students, in addition to devising and directing a winter showcase, and directing a fully staged spring musical production. 

Following her freelance career, Michele joined the thriving Fine Arts Department at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, MD as the Fine Arts Coordinator and FADE Advisor. After working closely with the Fine Arts Director, school Administration and Advancement to establish and implement procedures and protocols to improve department and production operations. For two years, Michele supported the operations and administration of this stellar department. 

Currently, after returning to her MCPS roots, she is a proud member of the English Department at Springbrook High School teaching 9th grade Honors English, IB Language & Literature I, and IB Theatre. Michele continues to provide Arts Integration Consulting, after-school workshops & Master Classes, private vocal and acting coaching, and performs, directs & music directs theatrical productions at the educational, community & professional levels.
